The 2019 Boys Soccer team finished its season with a record of 13-8 and ranked No. 12 in the ISCA Coaches Poll. The Pioneers won their eighth straight sectional championship, losing to 1A No. 9 Jac-Cen-Del in a tough match in the regional final. The Pioneers were led offensively by Luke Hesse (21 goals), Evan Scott (13 goals, four assists), and Alex Lancaster (two goals, 12 assists). Defensively, goalkeeper Jacob Braswell had more than 80 saves on the season with seven shutouts. The team had key wins over Floyd Central, New Albany, and 1A No. 8 South Knox in game one of regional.

The Boys Soccer team will graduate several key seniors in Lancaster (four-year varsity starter), Edy Lutgens (four-year varsity player), Ryan Drury, Michael Morra, Carson Happel, Will Jenkins, and Brandon Barron. The team will look to reload next year with a strong core of underclassmen lead by  Billy Hoke and AJ Richards along with Scott, Hess, and Edward Bobkoski.
