How it Works:

All Providence High School students, faculty, and staff are divided into eight Houses with equal numbers from each class in each house. Selection is by random draw unless another family member is or was in a House. Students remain in their Houses throughout their time at Providence and will continue even as alumni.

Representatives from each grade serve as leaders in each of the eight Houses.

Student Executive Advisory Council:  A student-led organization comprised of the junior and senior executive delegates from each House. This organization meets monthly with school administration to discuss and offer input on school-related issues and activities.

Underclass Executive Advisory Council: A student-led organization comprised of the freshman and sophomore executive delegates from each House.  This organization meets every month with school administration to discuss and offer input on school-related issues and activities

Each House has approximately five faculty and staff members, with one acting as House Director. They assist students in planning various House activities throughout the school year.

Houses meet on a monthly basis during the school day. Houses kickstart their yearly competition for points with Guerin Day in the fall. The top Houses by the end of the school year go on to compete in the House Cup in April.
