John Joseph Quinkert age 87 was the father of Terry Quinkert '73 John "Jack" A. We have just learned that Echo Elliott Bacon died in Austin TX on July 14 2011. She was survived by her husband James Bacon.

Class of 1957.  Jim died ​in Oshkosh Wisconsin when ​the​ ​ small plane he was flying crashed upon landing at the local airport there. Jim and his wife Juliet ​live in Versailles KY​ and have three daughters​. ​ He was a brother to Joan (Oeffinger) Smith '60 (James L. Smith '59) and uncle to Gregory M. Smith '86 and Scott Smith '89 (Erin Hazen '90 Smith).​
