Sister Cordelia Moran (formerly Sister Ann De Sales) died very peacefully on the night of ThursFeb 13 2014 at St. Mary-of-the-Woods. She served Providence High School on two occasions - first from 1965-1967 as a teacher of religion and English and second from 1977-78 as Director of Development and 1978-79 as teacher of journalism.. 

The wake for Sr. Cordelia will be the afternoon of Wednesday February 19 and her Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 20 2014.

This information came to us via Sister Carole Ann Fedders S.P. a 1959 graduate of Providence High School who is currently a Minister of Care in the Providence Health Care facility at St. Mary-of-the-Woods IN. She wrote: "We thought that there may be someone [at Providence] who might remember her and would like to know about her being called  to the fullness of life in Heaven. Know that your prayers are very much appreciated. May God continue to bless you."

Former football assistant coach  Mike Brown died Monday morning in an automobile accident. He was the defensive line coach here at Providence during the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Coach Brown age 39 had moved back to his hometown of Bedford Indiana after the 2012 season and was coaching at Bedford North Lawrence High School. Visitation at Crest Haven Funeral Home in Bedford from Noon-8:00 p.m. on Friday(2/14) with funeral Mass at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Bedford at 11:00 a.m .on Saturday (2/15).
