Dale Durham, who was made an Honorary Alumnus in 2006, passed away May 1, 2022. Mr. Durham served at Providence his entire career. He was on the first student leader team of the Christian Awakening Senior Retreat Program while a student at Bellarmine University. He joined the Providence staff as a theology teacher in 1978 and immediately joined the performing arts program. Mr. Durham served the Providence performing arts until 2014, many of those years as director of the spring musical, and an annual scholarship for an incoming freshman was named in his honor when he retired in 2015. Mr. Durham also served as campus minister from 1982-2015. 

The family requests donations the the Dale Durham Performing Arts Scholarship.

There will be a gathering in honor of Dale Durham's legacy at Providence at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 5, at Providence High School. This will be an opportunity to tell your stories about Dale and to pray together.
